Went on honeymoon arrived wasnt a hotel more like hell, room was covered in ants ,premier sea facing view my ass.More like ballymun in the sun. Had to fork out 900 euros to transfer to amari palm reef resort, difference between light and day and didnt have to pay for the deckchairs there. Twohigs Ireland didn't help at all my credit card came to the rescue. 0 out of 10.

The imperial Samui is clearly a lovely hotel, however BEWARE!!!! We were shown to a room directly adjacent to a huge building site. The hotel is undergoing major renovations to one of it's restaurants. If you love the sound of jackhammers, drills, hammering and angle-grinders, I fully recommend this place!!! We paid US $130 a night to listen to such lovely sounds as we were lying by the pool and on the beach. NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Top Local Tips for Koh Samui

Pick up a taxi passing by the hotel or use the hotel minibus at a short notice Its a bit away from the main drag which means a short taxi ride. It's close enough not to be too out of the way but far enough to be away from the noise and hustle and bustle.
