Safety first! With the busy traffic in Bangkok and the speed that is being used, please make sure your taxi has a safety belt. We were caught out the moment you wanted to put one on....tell your hotel doorman before he gets you a taxi!

Chatuchak Park If you want a nice type of parkland to walk or jog around, visit Chatuchak park, from the underground get off at Chatuchak. The park is about 2 Km in walking distance from start to finish. Go in the late afternoon and it's not too hot. It has some very good places to take some pictures either near the fountain or on 1 of the bridges there. It is pretty quiet and not surrounded by too much noise from the traffic. You can take a picnic and really chill out on the grass.
