Must do A swim in the hotel pool, try delicious tea at the hotel's tea house, relax in the sauna / spa area with breathtaking view, walk around the lake (partially)
Buy a driver! Instead of trying to get around on your own, just pay up and buy a driver for the day. It will make things easy and the driver will keep you on time going from spot to spot. It probably costs 2000 or so TWD but its well worth it.
