Take the HSR Train to Taipei Don't forget to take a ride on the High Speed Rail into Taipei for a day or weekend trip.

Green Grass Lake Be warned, this lake is just a hole in the ground! When I previously saw it, it had filled with dirt/rubbish and had been overgrown by grass (this grass was *NOT* the origins of the name of the Lake). Its currently under renovation and may be ok in a couple of years: tractors are digging out all the dirt so I assume eventually it will fill with water. There is a karaoke venue nearby that cranks out tragic renditions of songs you formerly loved, so unless you want to hear your favorite tune murdered, there is nothing to see, do or hear at this "tourist attraction".
