Top Local Tips for Incheon
Good food at the Hyatt Regency The restaurant is really worth a visit. They appear to have employed a very good chef and the food is tasty and plentiful.
Greatest food imaginable Incheon is port of entry for Chinese from the mainland, and has a very old Chinatown. The food is absolutely, unbelievably incredible. I had served in Incheon in the Navy in 1968, and wanted to see it for old time's sake. There's a great park looking out over the city, with a memorial to Gen. Douglas MacArthur (it was there in my day) and a new friendship memorial commemorating US/Korean ties (which was not.) The little tidal basin there in 1968 has been replaced by a tidal lock across the mouth of the harbor, so that this port with a 32-foot tidal range has become one of the world's premier container ports. It's an engineering marvel. I was thrilled to see how much the Koreans have accomplished since I left. The food was an unexpected plus. We cannot wait to go back.
Getting the best price I always check the hotel web site for prices; often the hotel's own web site includes the lowest price offered by the "discount" sellers and doesn't require prepayment, is able to be guaranteed and canceled without penalty, etc.
