To all the employees of grand central hotel, thank you very much for making me feel that I'm home, thank you very much for taking care of me when I was there. If I will be given a chance to go back there I will. I will never forget the time when I was staying at room 502. You don't deserve a 3 star rate, it should be 5 stars, once again thank you very much

Top Local Tips for Singapore

You get what you pay for. The hotel prices have rocketed in Singapore over the last 3-4 years. This is definately one city where you get what you pay for. If it's a real bargain - beware!

the Mass Rail Transit Taxis are cheap but the MRT is so good you can get to most places quickly and cheaply. It can be a little crowded and isnt for children but is immaculate and modern. Stay somewhere close to a station. You may find hotels in a cheaper area close to MRT stations are effectively as good as staying at a poxy one for a lot of money in the more expensive areas.

A Great Atmosphere Do spend some time down at the Quay at night. The atmosphere is great.
