Most of the staff and the overall facilities were nice. The front office staff were not cooperative, and not guest-friendly. The resort looks for every possible way to pull extra pesos for basic resort services and activities. They charge 200 pesos ($5)for an hour on the lobby computer. They also charged 400 pesos for a ride into the town proper when a taxi charged only 250. I could list more, but you get the idea. Our family, and three others at the resort were leaving on the same PAL flight which required a ride to the airport at 2:30 pm. Checkout at the resort is 12:00, and they expected all four families to hang around the lobby after checkout rather than allow us any further use of the facilities such as the pool, etc. unless we paid extra. The grounds were nice, but the beach was a narrow strip below the sea wall that was usually submerged except at low tide. I recommend you try resorts further down the island.

Now what you should know is that the beach is just 50 meters long and 10 meters wide and lacks sun beds. The water is shallow, and 20 meters into the sea full of seaweed and sea urchins. During our stay, construction was going on (and supposed to last another few months) at both ends of the short beach. Air hammers, chain saws and drills did not even stop during Chinese New Year and full occupancy at the Resort. Finally, there is nowhere to escape to. The beach is surrounded by cliffs and rocks, so to get to the next beach, restaurant or shop takes you 3-5 km via the only road.
In summary, the resort is not worth even half the exorbitant prices quoted on the Resort's website.

Visit Virgin Island First Before Going To The Great Diving Place of Balikasag Is The sandbar at the Virgin Island in the early morning is particularly great, fantastic. The sandbar is circular in shape leading to the Virgin Island. Very, very beautiful scenery and the barefooted walk on the sand leading to the island is an unforgettable experience.

When we complained, the hotel staff were very unhelpful and there was no manager to talk to. The HR people who came out to see us were very unapologetic and started to make excuses for their mistakes.
Flushing Meadows seemed to be more interested in extorting money from their guests rather than making them feel at home and comfortable. Rooms aren't at all that great for the price you pay. Food was very expensive and there were cats loitering around the restaurant while you had your meal. The resort's location is isolated that you really don't have much of a choice but to avail of their very expensive, albeit unsatisfactory service.
Plus the beach fron was small and not very clean (sea weeds, rocks and sea urchins)
