I had my share of bad experiences with some hotel but this hotel takes the cake.I arrived at the hotel at 5am and there were nobody at the door to help me with the luggages.I approached the reception to check in and they were all half asleep and was told that they will charge me an additional half day for early check in. My question to them was why this additional charge was not highlighted during the course of me booking the hotel. I was very annoyed and decided to pursue the matter with the GM next morning.
I left several messages for him and he never bothered to return my call.
An overview of my experience with this hotel is that the frontliners,service staffs including the GM must attend intensive training on SERVICE RELATIONSHIP. They are a disgrace to the rest of Hyatt Chain of Hotels.

Top Local Tips for Manila

Reasonable airport taxis for wary first-timers Airport coupon taxis are great for those who don't want to pay $20 USD or more for hotel transportation or are wary of taking much cheaper local taxis. We flew into the Centennial Terminal at NAIA (Philippine Airlines flights only). When you exit the terminal, turn left and make your way to the taxi/transportation office several yards down on the left side (forgot what it was called, but you'll be able to figure it out). Tell them where you're going and they'll give you the price. If you decide to take it, you go out to the curb where you give the coupon to the driver. Pay for your trip at your destination and that's it. It cost 550 PHP from the airport to our hotel in Malate, a small price for peace of mind in unfamiliar territory.

The Meter Make sure your taxi driver turns on the meter. Many times the driver wants to charge a flat fee for a short trip that is much more than if he would have turned on the meter.
