Beware! Keep an eye on your driver... 80% of them are nice friendly people who are just earning a living but there are a few who will certainly try to scalp a lone traveller. Try to travel in pairs or larger groups rather than travelling alone and at the first sign of trouble ask the driver to pull over, get out and don't pay! This counts even more so if you are female as cab drivers may try to take advantage of the situation. Like i said its very rare but i have experienced dodgy cab drivers there personally so just keep your wits about you during the cab ride - If you find a good cabby try getting his number and you can use him regularly.

SDR Serviced Apartment - Great value for money We found SDR Serviced Apartments via a friend's recommendation. They are self contained and include kitchens, cooking facilities, free cable internet (not wifi thank God) and really large rooms. It was about 400 sqf which would be a deluxe sweet in most hotels. Location is a few minutes from the airport, and minutes from over 100 retail stores. 5 minutes to a half decent golf course, and 10 mins to the beach.
