Good accommodation, handy for town centre and port. Restaurant OK, but spoilt by amateur service. They did take complaints seriously, though.

Botanical gardens Very nice day here. Walk back to the waterfront if the weather is congenial . Reminds me of a little San Francisco. "Windy Wellington" is apt. Be prepared!
Walk to Everything Bring your walking shoes and windbreaker or light raincoat - you'll never know when it will be needed! Great city for walking to everything - central city is very compact and flat - surrounded by hilly housing areas. Cultural/hisorical - museum, St Pauls cathedral, cable car, parliament buildings
