Wow! What a fantastic place to stay, the apartment was beautiful with such amazing views of the lake, the rose garden and bbq are such a superb idea! And so close to town, and a great price. The staff were super friendly and helpful... Just perfect Thanks Guys!!!

Top Local Tips for Queenstown

Great places to eat and drink All bars in Queenstown let children of any age in until any time at night! They are really friendly with the children and the atmosphere is safe. The best places to eat in Queenstown are: Speights Ale House - fantastic food and local beer, relaxed bar,get there early for a table: Winnies - Great gormet pizzas and pasta, the best NZ green lipped mussles in town and a big open fire with a roof that opens every 15mins! Graet fun when it is snowing the the kids love it! : Pig ans Whistle - great for cheap pub grub and sports on wide screen. Lots more but these are the best!

Ski related injuries. If you have a ski or snowboard related injury, see the doctor at the first aid centre at Coronet Peak or the Remarkables first . Don't wait until you get back to Queenstown to seek attention at the Medical Centre, They have an agreement that if seen at the snow field first, you only have to pay $25 when you are followed up at the Medical centre. If you go to the medical centre first, it will cost you up to $120.

Must go See Milford Sound If you are planning to visit Queenstown, you MUST take a day to go to Milford Sound. Although it can make for a long day and there are always a lot of people, it is well worth the trip. You will not be disappointed.
