Had some fairly bad service here... room cleaning was really bad. dirt on the carpet from when we arrived was still there 5 days later! They also forgot to take out our rubbish on two occasions. And should your room be serviced at 4:30 pm?? Because that is when they seemed to get around to it! Over priced, in need of maintenance and just not what the website states. find other accommodation

Top Local Tips for Queenstown

Queenstown There is something here for every one be it adventure on the wild side or just beautiful scenery. I was there for four days and will return as I didn't see it all. Take a trip to Glenorchy if photography or just beautiful scenery is your thing. Good shopping and eateries.

Food, wine and comfort When going to Queenstown in winter, one must try the mulled wine! If wine doesn't tickle your fancy, the hot chocolate is also a must. However skim milk lovers be warned, the milk is very creamy in NZ, which is great, however, Sydneysiders who enjoy skim milk, it's "trim" here in NZ, people look at you strangely if you say "skim capp". A trip to the Skyline Gondola Restaurant is worth the visit. The restaurant is a little expensive, but well worth the experience because the views are breathtaking, especially if it has just snowed in town. If you find the food in Queenstown a little expensive for a family budget, the roast chickens in the supermarkets are very tasty, along with a restaurant in Queenstown called “Fergburger” – fantastic portions and very reasonable pricing. It was always full (of young people) and is also very tasty.
