Avoid the hawkers in the street around the hotel You will want to explore the city during the time you stay in Yangon. However if your walking be aware that local hawkers will want to escort with you to the Padogas / Money Changers and they are very difficult to shrug off with out being rude. Suggest that you just use the hotel taxis to get you around unless you really want to let off some steam!!!

Porters When arriving at the domestic airport you will be harassed by porters, who may latch onto your baggage , so if you do not require portering keep an eye on your bags and avoid giving anyone your baggage tickets .
