My hotel requirements are a clean shower and clean sheets. The Bayangol offered that, and a pair of those disposable slippers if you're like me and prefer not to walk barefoot inside. The shower was hot and the bed was warm enough, if a bit hard (when traveling I usually use my down vest in a pillowcase as a pillow).

If you're a non-smoker be sure to request a non-smoking room, as the other rooms reek like the smoking section of a roadside motel. When I asked to be moved they responded quickly and courteously.

The staff changed money for me at the front desk on several occasions, and were always helpful and accommodating, whether during 'normal' hours or when I left at 4 in the morning.

The breakfast was excellent - a huge buffet with a variety of western and Mongolian foods.

Rooms have some cable TV, and there's a business center in the lobby which I used a couple of times to send emails. Their connection is good & quick but they charge in 10 minute increments.
