Top Local Tips for Ari Atoll

Relax !!! We did not have a tv or radio, and did not want one. We COMPLETELY switched off for the week we were there........just do it. get away from it all, kick back, RELAX !!!

Don;t fly Emirates there Fly Virgin or Cathay Pacific if possible. Very dissapointe dwith Emirates and this was the first time we had flown with them.

Don't Forget EXTRA STRENGTH suncream (the sun is incredibly intense); INSECT REPELLENT (for neighboring islands, where there is no mosquito control); sandals (the sun and piers get HOT during the day); REEF SHOES (for walking in the water, there are sharp coral pieces around); CAMERA (underwater, too!); cortisone or other after-sun treatment (we got burned with SPF 40); an old T-shirt if you plan on snorkeling a lot (we saw some people who were very "well done").
