I am very happy with the Merdeka Palace hotel in Kuching. The warm welcoming by the doorman was great as he smile to me with open heart. The lobby of the hotel so great feel that you are staying the luxury hotel or queen or something. The check in & out part, I had no problem as they all knew me as I'm the regular person who have stayed in that hotel. Excellent service overall & would recommended to all friends, family member & anybody.

Top Local Tips for Kuching
Bako Trip to Bako national park is very easy by bus. Even if you have to pay for the boat in full both ways it will be a lot cheaper than an organised trip. We had a really fun day out. Note unless you are staying overnight permits can be bought on arrival at the Park. The local tourist office can provide all details including bus stop location
there is no "NIGHT LIFE" there is this bar called Soho,there is nothing much to do in the night !! there is only dining places to go , seafood is great there
