I made my reservation from the web. Overall my 2 nights stay there is quite ok. Just that the TV receiver is not so clear and not much channel to view. Furthermore, on my day 1, the water hearter seem working but on my day 2, it's not working at all. The room air-conditioner is quite cooling just that when i try to lower the temperature, its started to have funny sound. Luckily i am not so annoying on the sound but not to my partner. Hopefully, some repair and maintenance can be done.

Taxi's in Kota Kinabalu Taxi's are not on the meter here so you have to agree on a price. Best to ask at your hotel or the tourism office for ideas of prices to and from places or you will get ripped off. The city isn't very big, you can easily walk around the whole thing, unless you have heavy luggage etc
