Tokyo subway is excellent! Take the subway. It is clean, cheap, fast, frequent and safe.

General information What we have noticed in Tokyo is that the restaurants look very dirty and not attractive on the outside Do take the Tokyo city tour but not the whole day nor lunch , and the second part of the tour included visits to stores the touring companies do business with, obviously with commission. Also, the excursion to Mount Fudji and Mount Hakone which includes a mini cruise is a must. Take food with you instead of eating with the group as food was terrible. When in Ropongi street (mention as Lopongi like the locals!) make sure you visit the Ritz Carlton cafe at the top of the hotel which is an unforgettable experience with beautiful views, high quality, live piano, and zen atmosphere. Also, the Tokyo city guide flyers do not mention attractions like Disneyland which we accidentally found and visited and had a wonderful time. The room was cleaned daily and english language newspapers brought in daily.
The pool was relaxing.
It wasn't far to walk to two or three metro stations, yotsuya being the preferred choice.
Disneyland was about 30 minutes by train.
Motegi MOTOGp race was about 4 hours travel by trains, but the staff at the hotel booked tickets for me and gave me guides for the trains to take.
So very helpful. I left a nice present of English chocolate on the bed for the maid every other day, and on my last day got a thankyou card.
So sweet.
Stay here, it's great.
