Got to capsule land an hr or so b4 check in and asked if I could leave my bag there they kindly said it would be fine on returning dressed in a business suit I went to help the attendant with my bag and stepped onto the 1mt strip of carpet and just put my foot inside their office door to help carry my bag as it was really heavy he then pushed me and I almost fell backwards yelling no shoes on carpet. I thought it may have been a language difficulty but on returning he spoke clear English don't stay there unless you want to be treated badly by rude Japanese I was really upset that someone running the reception desk could attack me I hate to think it but clearly some racism was involved. Not happy.

This was my first experience in a capsule hotel and I was pleasantly surprised. The place is very clean, affordable and right in the heart of Shibuya. everything you need is provided: contrary to another's review, there *is* a shower, albeit a Japanese, sit-down type. It's in the room with the toilets. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs, you can hear the snoring of everyone in the hall..

First Capsule Experience: Very Comfortable

This capsule hotel is inexpensive, clean, and has a very nice Japanese style bath (no coin showers). The lockers are much narrower than expected (8" or less) and I had to unpack my backpack to stow everything. A wonderful first experience, I would gladly stay there again.

There are separate shower rooms for privacy and a communal bath. Shared bathroom sink areas. Coin lockers that you can use during the day if you'll be staying multiple nights. Complimentary coffee and tea.
I found the staff very friendly and willing to help. Capsule was more comfortable than I was expecting and everyone was very courteous. Was able to get a good nights sleep without being disrupted. They have "deluxe" capsules for bigger individuals or if you need more space.
Located a block away from all the Shibuya night clubs and raves. Location cannot be beat for under $50 a night.
