Rip-off in a book shop in Ubud (Periplus on Monkey Forest Road) Prices were not mentioned on the books and the shop assistant sold me a book about Bali for almost a double price (than sold at the airport). Yes, very stupid from me to buy for that price, but I did not think that I should bargain in a proper shop and would never expect such a rip-off there. He quoted me another book price one third higher than the airport price.
