Don't go during the Hajj Season

I have some business in Solo and tend to go to Solo once a year. This year I stay at Lor in for first time. Never will I go again in Hajj season. The Hotel is nice with nice room. The service is very slow in Restaurant and Bar. The food is OK I have worse in Indonesia. The big problem is the pilots and the engineers for company flying hajj for Garuda. They get very drunk are very noisy and very rude. The pilots have prostitutes in and out of rooms at all different hours. The English say we obnoxious but never I meet more rude and obnoxious people. Next visit is to the Quality or Novotel hotels.

Eat out 200 metres down the road from the resort is a Golf driving range with a fantastic cafe/bar/grill inside.Great burgers,sandwiches and other western fare top the menu.Indonesian selections available. On most nights I think they also have live music.Nice little place to have a beer and a feed.
