Ampera Bridge - Jalan Jalan Walk (jalan jalan) across the Ampera Bridge for a great night view of the Musi River. The bridge is easily walkable, and it is possible to park without problem at Benteng Kota Besar, in front of the Dutch fort, and walk to the bridge from there. It is very well lit up at night, and is an impressive sight. Notice the traditional canoes still being rowed in darkness up and down the river, with their boatmen skillfully avoiding the larger boats traversing from one side of the river to the other. Don't bother taking the boat trip across the river to the gaudy Warung Legenda floating restaurant however. The menu is minimal, the food is only passable quality,the beer is served warm, and the river is filthy when you get this close to it.
