As a return visitor to Club mirage ,it"s friendly helpful staff with infectious smiles !!!The hotel is relaxing and stress free,If you want a busy daytime program Madika and little joe will keep you busy !!!(catamaran a must DOOO!!)The hotel location is literally on the beach a sunbed facing the ocean with a constant sea breeze.Entertainment is low key at night if your looking flashing lights and loud music you wont find it here !!! ARYA at the lobby bar will keep your glass full and a little back ground music completes the chilled out Bali days!!WONDERFUL BALI retreat!!!!!suzan (UK /MANCHESTER)

Club Bali Mirage What a fabulous hotel WITH A LOCATION that would be hard to beat!! i have returned three times!!!! The hotel is relaxing the staff are friendly and helpful.It"s truly a magical, relaxing,stress free holiday !!!A big smile and hello to all the staff !!!Suzan from Manchester.

Bad accounting?

Stayed in the hotel for 6 nights from 22.July onwards.

Generally, quite nice and quite, food and all inclusive are nice and offer a choice for everybody.
Room, I had a suite (which means it is just a sofa added in the corridor) and it was clean, well equipped and with a nice view on the sea.

PROBLEM: As it is customary, the hotel charged a guarantee deposit on my credit card AND charged the final amount, so I paid double. My credit card company says it an obvious fault of the hotel, but the hotel did not react to my or the banks questions yet.

So, unless you work with prepaid vouchers avoid this hotel, since they are unable to maintain a proper bookkeeping and secondly do not answer to complaints.

Top Local Tips for Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua Collection Point Most of the hotels offer a free shuttle bus that takes you down to Nusa Dua. Most drop off at the collection point which is a modern complex of restaurants and shops,almost like an open air shopping mall. It is not very 'authentic Bali' but there are some great restaurants and some good bargains to be had in the shops. Definitely worth a trip one evening.

Tricky Taxes & Spas It costs $10 each to buy your entry visa to Bali where you MUST be careful about how long you put down as your stay (put total number of days not nights I.E 7 nights is 8 days). It then costs you 100,000 Indo Rupiah to leave Bali plus if you mis-calculated your stay an extra $20 each if you outstayed your visa. I hate being ripped off like this when I've just spent a small fortune in the country so I won't be visiting Bali again. Also visit the spa at Conrad, according to my wife and expedia it is the best spa in the world!!

Visa (issued on arrival) A 7-Day visa costs USD 10.00 per person. A 30-Day visa costs USD 50.00 person. You will also have to pay INDR 100,000 per person when departing. These are 2007 figures.
