When you get off that plane in denpasar get the taxi straight to the puri. Comfortable beds... fans... frangipanis... massage.. 2 pools... big choice breakfast with a sea view... what more do you need for a tired jet lagged body... been twice and just about to book again.... check it out for yourself!!!

Top Local Tips for Kuta

giving back to bali Many travellers go to Bali with empty suitcases so they can stock up with shopping, and so do I!!! In recent years I have filled my suitcases with childrens clothing, toys pencils colouring books etc.... I tke them to an orphanage when I go there, which I originally looked up on the web. It's a very satisfying thing to do and costs nothing.... We are very fortunate to visit such a beautiful place and if you ca do one small thing to give back to the people who are kind enough to let us visit their countryit benefits them so much I have actually befriended a family there now and they look forward to us visiting them each year.

tours Don't book anything with your travel agent. Book everything when you get there. Only catch Bluebird taxi's.Shop till you drop. eat at as many cafe's/bars & restruants as you can handle. If you take you eftpos card with you, ask your bank how much they charge for international withdrawal fees & foriegn exchange fees. I take $2,000 ($100 notes) cash with me & my c/c to use at department stores. enjoy
