Ellie's is a great place to stay, we stayed there for two weeks and Van the English manager was fantastic. The service he and his small team of staff give are second to none. The hotel is small and off the beaten track but Van offers the service of a driver at very resonable prices. Our driver Gin was excellent he made every trip fun and interesting. He became our friend and we will miss him! The hotel is very clean and private and at all times we felt safe there. We would love to return to Ellie's in the future.

I'm not too hot with words but this really is a fantastic place to say and I'll be dreaming about their tuna burger for years to come...well until next May when I'll be back again. Tim

I stayed at Ellie's for two weeks and all I can say is thank you to my friend who recommended it and to Amy and Mike who run Ellie's with their family, for one of the nicest holidays I have ever had. The nights on your terrace watching the sun go down with Benoa Bay stretched out infront of us and a gin and tonic will stay with us forever. Your kindness and efforts to make our stay in Bali even more magical will be remembered always and we can't wait to come back and see Ellie's and you all next year. Thanks again Jen x

Transfer from airport to hotel. Let Ellie's know when you are arriving and they will pick you up free from the airport, this is a lot less stressful than using local transport.

Don't be afraid!! Try all ends of the budget spectrum, some of our best meals were in some of the cheapest places.
