We have been regular visitors to this hotel for 11years and have seen so many changes, all for the better. It can now be considered as one of the most relaxing, peaceful places to be in Goa with excellent service, food, and every consideration given to all your needs. Ideal for honeymoon couples, older travellers who don't want the blare of dicso music at all hours, and business or sightseeing people, whatever you require from a stay in Goa this hotel can provide it. Give yourself a treat and try it for a few days break or a month long stay as we do, twice yearly.

Nice Beach Resort with excellent staff

I had been to Varca Palms Beach Resort - South Goa Hotel in the month of April along with my family. Well now abt the stay.. well it was wonderful, very exciting, actually the staff over there was very co-operative, friendly and very helpful in nature. It was like a feeling of home away from home.

Actually I had seen some bad reviews which I am sure are very much false and deceptive in nature, but still.. I had just filled up the form at www.palmsbeachresort.net and instantly I was contacted by Mr. Kenneth - the reservation incharge, so... since I was instantly contacted.. and rather the correspondence with the booking incharge was rather quick and also the website was rather impressive, hence I thought of giving my holidaying at Varca Palms Beach Resort a try..

Something about the resort : The resort is right on the beach. The restaurants are with a luvly sea view. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The food is delicious. The sea food was awesome. Lot of nice cocktails out there. My favourite cocktail over there was Mohito made of bacardi + mint leaves + other exotic mixtures. I also loved the screw driver and my all time favourites is pinacolada.. actually known as a very good apetizer.

Well the stay over here was very well worth it.. and will definately visit this resort again. Happy holidaying to all you guys!!!

A letdown

The hotel was billed as a 4-star resort, and it turned out to be a letdown. Room was very basic, small, poor furniture. Bathroom stank, had no exhaust fan. Toilet flush didn't work, and they couldn't do anything about it. Service, and management in general was poor. On the flip side, location is nice, the beach is nice. Food at the restaurant was fine (nothing special, but no complaints). Certainly not worth the price. Oh by the way, they stranded us at the airport -- were supposed to pick us up, but noone showed up!

The hotel is very nice, the resort, the over all ambience and the staff was very professional and friendly. Nice and clean beach, good food, nice cocktails. Actually we were more at home the way the staff behaved with us. I would definately recommend this place.

Car rentals Be careful with the private car owners while taking car on rent, they might pickup issues at the time of return. Make sure you get all the defects, deformations, scratches etc. inspected before taking the car.

shopping in june do not expect to shop during summers as there are no shops open at that time.... if u want to shop there preffer going in winter holidays that is oct nov dec jan. these months are the best
