Please remember, when you go to Ujjain- I recently visited there. Experience is worth taking once in life for people who believe in god. But one thing should be remembered always (Not only for Ujjain but for all mythological places). Either take a small local book, onforming you about all holy places of this city. Better- take a CD & watch it before beginning. Usually we start travelling around & when we come back home, then we come to knoe that we have missed many places, & some of these were very very important. In Ujjain there are over 40 temples. Many religious places which are more popular then it, are only famous for ONE GOD,(Like Ayodhya- for RAM, Mathura- fro KRISHNA etc) but Ujjain has multiple destinations ie- Holy Kshipra River , Maha kal Temple, Bhairav nath Temple, Maa Bhadra Kali Temple, Magal Nath Temple, Sandipani Ashram (Teacher of lord Krishna), Shakti peeth of "SATI" Etc. So it is essential that you have a list of temples before hand, so as to plan your visit properly & to avoid missings. ALL THE BEST

The BHERUGARH BATIK PRINTS.. A village bherugarh about 15 kms from ujjain is known for its batik art of printing ant bedshhets,salwarsuits etc are available at places. A shop of Surana Bros. at bherugarh and in front of temple of mahakal is genuine..but beware of similar names..
