Top Local Tips for Srinagar
Continental House Boat (on Lake Dal) I would recommend the larger houseboats on Lake Dal (around the 'back'). They were beautifully crafted and so peaceful and sirene. Birds singing . . . and lotus flowers everywhere
water taxi,.. most of the houseboats offers free shuttle to the shore using shikaras. pls donot pay the water taxis.
