I would rather take this opportunity to share my experience in Sunrise Villa. Mr.& Mrs. Aggarwal have been wonderful hosts to me and my family for about 4 days from 22-25 October 2008. Even though we have heard a lot about their hospitality and warmth, got a direct chance to experience the same. The helpers did a great job for us, especially the tasty homely food offered with smiling faces. We will never forget our stay in Sunrise Villa in Shoghi.

The stay has been the best in recent years. We enjoyed a lot. This was the place we were looking for. Panoramic views, great location and affordable at the same time. Food was excellent yet very affordable.
It will stay in our memories for a long time.

Will definately recommend for all non business travellers and this is a place for leisure not business.

We visited this hotel after reading reviews on travel library and found the place and hospitalty more than what we had expected for. It is cool good place with plenty of breathtaking views of the mountains and flora and fauna. The place itself has a good amount of flowers and other plants which are very soothing to the eyes and soul. It is a perfect relexation place from the hectic congested cirt life.
The hotel is built tastefully, having neat and clean rooms and surroundings , thanks to Mr. Aggarwal a Sr. retd. Govt Officer, owner of Sunrise Villa who is very particular about clenliness.
We enjoyed the stay , the hospitality, the food and above all the warm homely atmosphere extended to us.

It was indeed a pleasure staying at Sunrise Villa. The family like environment have made us took a decision to stay at Sunrise Villa only in future as & when we will visit that area again. Considering the location, environment & hospitality, say at Sunrise Villa is priceless.

I just happened to stay at sunrise villa Shoghi, Shimla in the winter season of 2005 and again last month and I was amazed to explore such a good place to stay in Shimla in the lap of nature away from the hectic city life. Shoghi is 13 kms short of Shimla on Chandigarh Shimla national highway and sunrise villa is half a kilometer toward the road leading to the Taradevi temple. The location is excellent and very peaceful and you can hear the ticking the wall clock. The site has panoramic views of the valley and distant Chail and other Himalayan ranges. Drive in parking adds to the comfort.

The rooms were neat and clean including the bed sheets and pillow covers. Mr. RC Aggarwal who is the owner is a retired government officer and he personally checks the cleanliness of the area. The homely simple buffet vegetarian food which is served in the dining room was excellent and hygienic. There is forest area all around and we enjoyed trekking to the Taradevi temple, forest walks, relaxing in the lawns and enjoying tea. We also enjoyed the sunrise in the distant Himalayas.
The villa had all the luxuries of a mini resort and that too at a very cheap price. We had planned a stay for two days only but we extended the stay for full one week and that too in the same budget we had planned for two days. Sounds interesting? But this is true.

The place has a totally different look in the winters. It seems a thick blanket
Of snow has surrounded the area. The views are memorable and have a long lasting effect in the mind.

I bet that you will not find a better place to stay in Shimla.

Location good, drive in , picturesque views, lawns, flower beds, fruit trees, peaceful
Rooms. Neat with wall to wall carpet, colour TV, hot and cold water, clean beddings and blankets (rare in hotels). Service : a little bit slow. Food : very good food. Price : very economical prices as compared to the quality of services. Staff: cooperative and friendly.

I visited this place to relax after the exams, and this was a perfect place for this. The location is very good and the place is very calm and one can interact with nature at its best. I will visit again whenever I have time.

It is located at avery beautiful ridge haveing panoramic views of the valley and the himalayan ranges. The hospitality extended by the owners was excellent and we found that place a home away from home. We extended the stay from two days to one week as the package was very economical and was within the budget we had planned for just two days.
