Top Local Tips for Shimla

walking in Simla Simla is not that big and if you are prepared to walk it is a place like no other. Built on the side of a mountain with most of the British town along stretched out along the top, it is meant to walk. There is not a great deal to do but rest but it is a perfect place to do that. A favorite time for us was to walk the shopping streets that hung along the side of the mountain. You need of course to be fit enough to climb. Everything that comes to Simla is carried. On arrival we were dropped at an elevator that took us to the main street. That was the only time we took it until we needed to return to the car park to meet our driver at the end of our visit.
