More than anything else, treatment from the people was nice. Rooms were optimum sized with great features

The staff has to understand and get trained in providing accurate information to the customers. Need to improve internet facilities as advertised. Very irresponsive management team. Too much differentiation between foreign and Indian customers.

Did not actually stay here but visited and viewed a room - room small but adequate, all amenities typical of a budget US hotel, clean. Decent bed and bath, which is more than I can say for many hotels in India. For the price, in Delhi, a good deal if you are used to or expect Western amenities. Other Delhi hotels tend to be too expensive or below American standards. Not near Connaught and central areas though.

Top Local Tips for New Delhi

January in Delhi Believe it or not, it was chilly in Delhi in the first week of January. 2008. We needed sweaters during the day except when in the direct sun. Nonetheless we had a great time but would have brought warmer clothes if we had known how cool it could be.

suncream make sure you take plentywith you- I tried to buy some outside the Hotel in a "chemist" & it was years out of date

Sit back and enjoy the ride Whatever your choice of transport - don't panic! You won't believe it but accidents are very rare, and serious accidents even less so given the totaly impossilbe numbers of people, bike, rickshaws, tuctucs, cars trucks and cows on the roads and pavements. Sit back, adjust your reality and be amazed. And start believing in karma. But driving is one thing you should perhaps not try yourself.
