Some rooms are lovely, some are rather basic. Beware the cost of meals, this hotel is so far from town that you have no choice other than to eat there at night. If there is a tour party in the hotel, there may be a buffet only, making the cost exhorbitant to other guests. Expect to pay four times more than average for a rather ordinary meal. Snacks are served at the poolside during the day, but expect a long wait and a big bill.

This was quite the oddest place I have ever stayed and worth a visit for that alone! Incredibly romantic for a young couple but you'd need to be my age to understand the electrics. Go for it; you'll never forget it. Hot velvet nights, puppet shows (well it is Rajastan)and good service so long as you don't want breakfast.
