Clean, friendly hotel

Located at Chullikal, near Fort. The area is more of a business area than a tourist area. But the Synagogue is just Rs 25 away by auto, and Vasco da Gama square is about Rs 40.

Paid Rs 850 per night inclusive of breakfast. Clean rooms, clean bathroom. The rate entitles you to Rs 70 for breakfast -- most of the breakfast choices were between Rs 30 and Rs 80.

Service is extremely slow -- it took about an hour to get a bottle of water delivered to the room. However, there is a store in the same building where you can get your essentials. (BTW, spices are a lot cheaper in this store than in the touristy Jew Town area)

Friendly reception, and they were the ones to offer a free late checkout to us.
