I was warned about this place but decided that it could not be as bad as people said. Besides I had already booked and paid for it. I now wish I had paid the cancellation fee and re- booked at another hotel. The staff are rude and try to overcharge you at every opportunity, they have no concept of customer care, and the hygeine standards are appalling. When we were were served food it was barely warm and the waiters hygeine habits terrible. There were mice droppings in the bar and dining areas. During our stay a UK couple who complained of being overcharged and ripped off were threatened with having their belongings confiscated untill they paid up. I see that someone has been rating this hotel as a 10 which I find hard to believe. Could it be that it is someone from the hotel doing this in order to boost the rating!

The service was excellent, the surroundings were beautiful, it even had a pool. The room service was excellent and they made us feel really welcome, simply fantastic, will be going there again in December...can't wait.

Worst Hotel

This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Staff were discourteous, rude, most uncooperative. 1 old, grey frayed towel each, two single beds pushed together which we fell down constantly, no basic ameneties in room, not even water. Fridge was empty. Restaurant breakfast was same every day, meagre choice, luke warm, slow service. Noisiest hotel in the world, big gap under the door so all noise permeated the room.No adaptors, hairdryers. Laundry service woke us twice at 4am to deliver laundry back to us.When checking out, staff tried to charge us double the rate we had been quoted. Hotel had also seriously overbooked, every day there were dramas at the counter, they threatened to remove our belongings and put them in a store room while we were out! Everyday they said we had to check out, we had been booked for 3 months!!!
Disgraceful service, we are thoroughly disgusted.

For those of you that want 5 star ambiance with 1 star service, this is the place for you. We booked online for a large group of wedding guests for my girls wedding, we even had these confirmed by Mukesh Sharma (so called Manager), at a meeting in person, two days later,I was informed that guests were told to find other accommodation as the rooms had not been booked according to the desk clerk Randeep.They even stated that they would put your luggage in a locked room without permission, hotel transfer to the railway station is not free, my guests had to pay 7,500 rps to leave as they had closed the front gate to ensure payment, one of my guests was given a bill of 21,000 for 5 nights, after a talk, they agreed the bill should be 12,000, The free breaky is only till 10.30am, and then you pay. The only guy that deserves his job here is the doorman, always got a smile.

I loved it there, the pool side and billiards room and food is awesome. It's my favorite place in Punjab.

I stayed in Grand lilly with my husband and three kids the pool table room was always closed and there were mice in the bar and food area not just that they took £3000 pounds from my uk account and told me it was a mistake the only thing was they could not refund it as fast as they took it out of my account they sent it to my account after three days only after spening a day and a half fighting to get my money back just beware uk travellers.......
