Best Pool & Massage in Jaisalmer - Heritage Inn safety first - please do not get lured into the smooth talking people you meet at station for a free ride into the city if you stay at their Hotel. There are some really nice hotels - which can be found online or explored on your own. and NOW the highlight of my trip to Jaisalmer -- Incase you are looking for a nice dip in a pool under the sun or some relaxing ayurvedic massage - the best spot in town is Heritage Inn, Jaisalmer. It is head and shoulders above any other property. My wife also loved their roof top seating area with view of the Fort. The bar is one of the most well stocked you will find in the city per me !!

Save water Jaisalmer is in the heart of Thar desert. I was informed by Mr. Narinder Singh (property manager of Heritage Inn) that all water used in Jaisalmer is bought through tankers. Hence, tourists are requested to avoid long showers and also conserve linen and towels. Also, I would avoid shopping big ticket items like gem stones, textiles, rugs, and blue pottery from small roadside shops in Rajasthan. There are established tourist showrooms in Jaipur which offer protection against fraudulent transactions and those should be preferred.
