One of the best things I can say about the Hotel Minerva is - HOT SHOWERS! That's a plus for this weary traveler a long way from home! The Minerva is not fancy, but it is very clean with excellent service across the board. From room service (with good food) to daily cleaning and restocking of the rooms.

We arrived very, very late (or early). However we were treated nicely and welcomed as if we'd arrived at 10 O'clock in the morning. There is shopping of all sorts within very close walking distance. You'll even find a state of the art broad band internet service "Reliance" just about a block away.

We were very comfortable the 4 nights we stayed in the Hotel Minerva. I would recommend it to anyone who has a limited budget, but yet desires good service, good food, and a clean place to stay - with hot showers!
