Not worth my money

I did not enjoy my stay here. Rooms are nice and big. But facilities are pathetic. I would not pay that much for the kind of rooms they have at this hotel.
I would recommend Amrutha Castle. Nicer facilities and a very cool and relaxing atmoshphere.

I have stayed here once earlier last year. It was good experience then. Decided to come back again. But stay this was dissapointing.
To be honest, the service in the restaurant was the only thing I liked and the food was good. But other than that, the hotel has changed a lot over the last year or so. I was planning to stay here for over 14 days. But after the first few days, I decided to move out. It is difficult to get anyone's attention to my problems. The telephone was not working in my room. The first day of my stay, I had problems getting hot water in the bathroom which is just unbelievable for a hotel where you pay over 80 bucks per night.
Finally to my rescue, a friend jumped in and suggested a few options. I stayed at Viceroy for a few days. It was a little expensive but well worth your money. To save a bit towards the end of my trip, I move to Aditya Park Inn which was little less expensive than Green Park but much better management.
My recommendation: There are much better and newer hotels in Hyderabad than Green Park.

Worst experience ever.

Before this, I had some good experience in other similar hotels in Agra (Howard Park) and Kolkata (Peerless Inn) and expecting a nice experience in Green Park, Hyderabad. But alas. It was completely dissapointing. I did not get the room I was promised. The front desk people were not at all helpful. Rooms were not well kept and they do not change the linens often. And on top of everything else, room service was the worst.
The hotel was definitely not worth the money. I would never stay here again and would discourage anyone planning to stay here.

My friends and I stayed at the Green Park Hotel when we were holidaying in Hyderabad. I am generally very fastidious when it comes to hotels and I am quick to find fault.
But this was one hotel where I didn't have anything to complain about (except for the bright, stark white energy saving lights in the rooms). It may not be grand and sophistcated as the Taj hotels or the Sheraton but it more than made up for it by their wonderful and courteous service and excellent food.
We stayed on the executive floor and got complimentary breakfast in the business lounge as well as complimentary lunch at their fine dining restaurent.
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the service from all departments of the hotel from the front office to room service to house keeping to food and beverage etc. was impeccable. Everyone at the hotel was so polite and courteous and their attention to detail was quite amazing.
My sincere thanks to all at Green Park Hotel for making my holiday a truly pleasant one.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is close to the airport and on request we had someone form the hotel pick us up. The hotel staff was friendly and the room comfortable. We also enjoyed the included breakfast buffet. We stayed at a five star hotel in Delhi and had a much better experience at the Hotel Green Park for a third of the cost. When we go back to Hyderabad we will definately stay at this hotel again.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. the amenities were great and the bed was super comfortable. i love the mini lotions and oil toiletries.
i'm not sure what happened to the other reviewers, because my room was very clean and the cleaning staff was great. room service is delicious and very quick, i highly recommend the coffee and veggie sandwiches.
breakfast is slow though, and they start clearing away the buffet too early. my other complaint is that the front desk check in people are rude and curt.

Stayed at this hotel in June for 4 nights.
Booked a junior suite which was awful. Dark, dreary, dirty bedroom, and then a starched white sitting area which was so uninviting who would want to sit there!! Restaurant lacked any atmosphere although the food was ok.
This hotel is very cheap and you really do get what you pay for. The decor is 1982, carpets are filthy and furniture looked older than me (Im 32!)
I would not stay here again, get a good rate at the Sheraton and stay there!

I came from NewYork and Stayed at Green Park for 3 days before flying to Mumbai.
A very good hotel with Good Facilities and a Very Friendly Staff. The Food
provided them was very great. The 8th wonder is the Free Internet access
in Rooms.

I think that the other review on this hotel so far cannot have even been written by someone who had stayed there, mind you it is not hard to gather how much effort was put into that particular review.
Right now, onto the good news.
I am currently midway through my first visit to India, which happens to be a month's business trip to Hyderabad. To give you some background, I have stayed in all kinds of Hotels right up to 5 star examples up and down Las Vegas Strip and Even more lavish examples in Dubai.
Now the Hotel Green Park is officially a 4 star hotel, but I can tell you that the personal attention, politeness, helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff here puts every other Hotel I have stayed in to shame. All of the Hotel Staff call me by name "Mr.Steve" and go out of their way to help. The Hotel actually runs its own Hotel Staff Training School onsite.
The food is tasty, reasonably priced and Safe. Purified bottled water is copiously and freely provided. My room is Spotless, the Air conditioning is working a treat in the 40 degree celcius days and 30 degree celcius nights.
Although my company is paying for my bed and breakfast, the cost for my room is only about $80 a night and the massive payoff is yet to be told - FREE WIRELESS INTERNET IN ALL ROOMS.
The "Once Upon a Time" Restaurant will treat you to a feast of traditional Indian Fayre for about $9 including Beer, or visit the Mustang Sports Bar for a cocktail and bar snack, or the 24 hour Tulips Coffee shop for Indian, Chinese or continental Fayre (Pizzas, Burgers). There is also a more trendy music pub called escapes for the night owls, which I have yet to try.
So if you are on business, or just passing through, you wont be dissapointed with your stay at the Green Park Hotel, Hyderabad, Andrha Pradesh, India.

Lousy Hotel Donot Stay Food Bad Bugs In Hotel

We are operating in India for the last 13 Years and we never had a negative remark of this kind.
We Strongly believe that the Reviewer would have mistaken our hotel with another low profile hotel having the name similar to us (like park etc.)

Top Local Tips for Hyderabad
Never, ever, ever, ever try to drive yourself in Hyderabad. Driving here is an artform better left to the professionals. There are no traffic laws - well there might be, but there are no traffic enforcement officers so it is road anarchy. Both sides of the road are fair game, I've seen five people on one motorcycle, two people and a refridgerator on a scooter (I wish I had a picture so you'd believe me..)
Sites to see See Golkonda Fort, Ramoji Film City and eat in the restaurants. They're all different and really good.
Pearl City Hyderabad is famous for pearls .... must buy a gift (pearl ornament) for your wife/ girl friend and dont forget to have Biryani for lunch/dinner
