This is without doubt the most pathetic hotel that I've stayed in. The room stinks, the toilet is a nightmare, the food sucks. The staff is awful...Do not recommend even to your enemy.

It was a family stay , not for long (only for half a day). The rooms and toilets were in an extremely poor condition. The rate that they charge for a so-called 'deluxe-room' is simply too high. In fact, the quality of service , for eg. the drinking glasses in the bedroom, the bedsheet, the floor , the toilets - everything was dirty.. It looked like they only arranged the bed after somebody checked out (without changing the used stuff !!) The room service was soo bad that it took him an hour to get the used glasses changed and to arrange for a towel in the room in the morning too!
I think any hotel's rooms would be better than this(for the price that they'r charging -Rs.1200/- a day for a dirty room and pathetic service is .....) ! sorry .. m short of words now.

Location is good but it is overpriced with really dirty rooms and horrible bed sheets, couch and toilets. Staff behaviour is unbelievably bad esp. towards foreigners which includes eve-teasing in local language that foreigners hardly understand.
If anyone want a halt in Gorakhpur, DO NOT book hotels online (without seeing rooms). Hotels are never full. Go anytime and negotiate well after looking for a good and clean room.

Gorakhnath Temple ( Avoid Makar Sankranti day when there is a fare and unbelievable rush except if you are adventurous and want to brave the rush and pick pockets). 2. Geeta Press - It consists of Wholesale as well as retail cloth as well as book shops (esp. of Hindu religion). 3. Kushinagar - This is where various Budhhist monks prefer coming but it is on outskirts of Gorakhpur and you need at least a day's time to enjoy it.
