hotel rikasa rooms are alright, but distance from gangtok is too much, whenever u want to shop or visit gangtok the distance of 10 km from hotel to market is very long.. in gangtok huge hotels are available so why we stay rikasa..

i saw their banner "want to stay green ? ......". i booked & reached. the ambiance of ricasa is really nice. the peaceful atmosphere, professional travel desk, premium service add colour to my holiday. we both were happy. the manager requested us for online reviews (".... as this is a new one & not promoted")- so we do.

Hospitality was great. Rooms & Service were up to my mark. We felt some problem finding Ricasa first time, as it is a brand new property on the way to North Sikkim route (approx 3 km from Gangtok Market Area).

The hotel is located near Tashi View Point, little far away from the market place. If anyone want to stay at a calm & quite place but at the capital of Sikkim i.e. Gangtok, you can make your holiday a memmorable one staying at Hotel Ricasa. I experienced much more cold & pleasent weather at RICASA than the main market area.
