Great accommodation and staff!

I stayed in this hotel with my family for 3 days for an off-season double-bed room tariff of Rs. 500/-. I thought it was very inexpensive, given the great location, accommodation and staff of the hotel. It does not have a restaurant, but all restaurants are located outside of this hotel. It is one of the oldest and heritage buildings of Darjeeling and the rooms are under repairs in phases. My only problem was insufficient electricity light in the room. Oh, yes, providing a towel to the guests would be great. I hate to check out from a hotel in the morning with my wet towel, which becomes smelly inside a bag. Monkeys are a menace in town, so be careful to keep the windows closed. Lastly, the staff of this hotel are a very pleasant lot. I hope you do good business this summer.
