The bell boy/staff stole my camera while transferring the luggage from room to the reception. The matter was reported to desk manager immediately at reception. However, the hotel staff did not take any action against the thief even on reporting immediately. Infact, they suspected other guests at hotel to steal it. The manager Mr. Pathik did not come to sort out the issue neither did he call even once and when I called him, he talked rudely and asked me to shut up. I had a horrible experience and I would suggest others not to choose this hotel even if they get a free stay.

We did our graduation last year and some of us in the class with strong bonding wanted to go on a trip together, not knowing when we would get a chance like this again. We decided to go to a hill station.
We went by train and to new Jalpaiguri from where we hired a car to reach Darjeeling. We told the driver to take us to a good hotel. He took us to Sinclairs which looked inviting from outside. So we went in and found everything was made of wood making the place so much cozier.
We took a liking to it. Our rooms were elegantly done and the view of the Kanchenjunga from our window left us awestruck. We rushed to have breakfast in the hotel restaurant downstairs not knowing what it would be like. We loved the fare and became sure that the main meal would be good too.
Darjeeling is the place for the ones given to wanderlust, so we did quite a bit of exploring on our own and we were richer for that. We were given a map at the hotel so that we could find our way around.
It was a lot of fun with just us friends being together.
We really will remember this trip!!

My experience at Darjeeling was an enjoyable one! Staying at Hotel Sinclairs was a good decision that I made because this hotel is definately worth a visit. I was holidaying at Darjeeling for 3 days with my husband. The best part of this hotel is the courteous staff and efficient service. The food at the hotel's multicuisine restaurant was delicious, and they even arranged a candlelight dinner for us! The room was of good standard, clean and very cozy. Every morning we would gaze out at the majestic vistas of the Himalayas, which was absolutely captivating... Darjeeling is a very beautiful place! Our sightseeing trips were also pretty well organised by the hotel. This hotel is good value for money. In terms of location, it is just near the mall, so is very convenient. I am thinking of visiting Sinclairs at Darjeeling again, in the near future hopefully!
Very hospitable and cosy hotel

My weekend holiday at Darjeeling was memorable because of the courteous staff at Sinclairs. We had a room overlooking the Himalayas which was great. The hotel is close to the Mall and sightseeing can be arranged. And the food was amazing...enjoyed it even more cuz of the cool weather. A must stay for anyone who visits Darjeeling
