I had booked the Blue-diamond suit, but was given two attached rooms which were not good at all. The service was even worse. Looking into the sabby condition of the hotel and service I cancelled my next two days booking and shifted to Sangrilla Hotel at the Mall. The mohit people make false promises and you are fooled by their 3* category. According to me they should fall under -3* category.

My weekend holiday at Darjeeling was memorable because of the courteous staff at Mohit. We had a room overlooking the Himalayas which was great. The hotel is close to the Mall and sightseeing can be arranged. And the food was amazing...enjoyed it even more cuz of the cool weather. A must stay for anyone who visits Darjeeling

It was a pleasure stay at Hotel Mohit, I had booked the Honeymoon Suite which was well furnished. The room service was excellent and prompt along with good quality food. I wish all the best to the management and specially to Mr. Nayak who really took care of us.

Small shabby rooms, drunken staff

My family were on a trip to Darjeeling and were very excited to have reserved Hotel Mohit after reading the first class advertisements on the net. But after staying there, it was a complete shocking contrast. Starting with drunken receptionist, rooms overlooking slums, awful food, dirty bathrooms - the whole experience was nasty. Infact, am not sure how it has got a 3 star status and I strongly recommend the tourism deptt to re-audit the hotel status. Also dont get duped by their claims of wall to wall carpeting and round the clock hot water etc - all of them are white lies.

Unscruplous & Extremely rude staff

I would strictly advise all visitors to Darjeeling to be very wary of the advertiseents that you see of Hotel Mohit. Evertything they advertise on the net is incorrect. I and my family got duped into their trap and lost all our advance money. The Director of the hotel Dinesh and the resident manager Mr.Nayak are the most unscruplous and unethical of people I have met in all my travelling across the world.

The hotel is shabby and the rooms are very tiny and even the most basic furnishing is either broken or on the verge of falling nto pieces. The worst part of the place is it's staff starting with the director and the resident manager. They were extremely rude and impolite and had the least of manners you expect from a service organization. Apart from duping us of our money they were rude enough to almost push us out of the door with two litle babies.

Needless to say I have comlaned officilay to the ministry of tourism. But all travellers to Darjeeling BEWARE of this hotel.
