We shifted from another hotel, which was horrible and were pleasantly surprised to receive such excellent service for approx same price we were paid at previous one. special mention for the manager of chin chin restaurant. He's the best. keep it up

Central airconditioning system

Our stay was made quite unpleasant by the central airconditioning system. The temperature could not be controlled from the room. If we switched off the unit we could not open the windows. Room smelt musty and on the entering the room the impression one got was that something ? insecticide was sprayed into the room through the AC unit. I may be wrong here but that's what it felt like. This needs serious attention.
In my opinion, hotel overpriced.
Redeeming feature: staff were excellent and helpful; service did not leave anything to be desired; chinese restaurant: very good.
Good place to stay but for the central airconditioning.

I had recently stayed at the Grace for 3 days during June. I was on a business to Sydney & was told to me by a friend about the Grace Hotel, which in turn booked the rooms for my stay. The experience at the Grace was just wonderful. I also had a good friendship with Kristy & Sri who was just awesome. They not only made my stay comfortable also memorable. Definitely an asset to the organisation.

CITY OF TRADITIONS AND BEACH city still in traditions. Beach worth a visit.Lots to buy specially woman jwellery, sarees, clothing and artifactsWorth a trip to Mahapalipuram to see the ancient pagodas. .One should taste a typical south indian food and speacially their filter Coffee.
