Horrible Hotel Don't Stay Here

This hotel was dirty and disgusting. My room was full of bugs and cockroaches. The hotel staff was rude. I had to ask five times for a towel. It is not a family place. It overlooks a slum and most of the customers are drunk young men. It is very sleazy. Don't stay here.

Top Local Tips for Chennai
Auto rickshaws - negotiate and fix the price before you step in !! They all charge different rates, so please remember to fix the price with the driver before you step in. Normally, I was told you should get the rate down by atleast 30-40% from the initial asking rate !
Auto Rickshaws You will need to use these as Chennai is spread out. Agree a fare in advance. For a pleasant experience remember when haggling that 10 or 20 rupees is neither here no there compared with travel costs at home.
