hotels in chennai With Outsourcing the demand for Hotels in chennai have gone up along with prices.With poor public transportation and dependent on taxis/limo services choose carefully.In my opinion the physical structure is always modern but in classical Indian fashion maintance is always poor.Service can be spotty although ther is a lot of Kowtowing.The star hotels close to airport are at least an hour away from the city except past 1100PM.

We stayed there for My husbands offical work. but from the check in time to check out time the service provided by the main reception was very very worst(came to know it was handled by a very senior reception person). when checking in i think there was a miscommunication gap with our official & room reservation team at Delays in deccan plaza regarding the time. But while check out (it was horrible). My husband called to reception by 9.30 & asked them to make arrangement for checking out(bills & other formalities) but the response was so super that we checked out by 10.45. after an hour of struggle with the reception person.
