We were a family of 4 traveling from Chiago for a vacation to India. Once in Mumbai we decided to take a short break in Goa. Found Casa Candolim on Trip Advisor which we use and trust. Casa Candolim was listed No 1 amongst 37 hotels in Candolim. And after staying there we know why. Excellent location, well appointed rooms amazing and attentive staff, and GREAT OWNERS!!! We were looked after so well the little touches like free internet, cabs arranged very good breakfast etc are an added bonus. We are surely coming back!

Tip on moving about Each short trip from one point to the other is Rs. 200-400. So if you plan to move around from place to place, it is better to hire a car for the whole day. An Air-conditioned car would cost Rs. 1200 per day and saves you a lot of trouble in getting a taxi each time

For gourmet delights Great range of restaurants in the area but the standouts were: Bomras, Fiesta, A Reverie and Little Italy

beach shacks so many to choose from it just depends what you are looking forward - would recommend Sea & Sand near the wreck for service with a smile and excellent food.
