I looked at several first in the same tourist area. The staff were attentive, friendly and easy going.
The room was SCRUBBED every day, and the linen and rubbish changed the same.
They directed me to decent inexpensive restaurants, shops and travel people.
After traveling in India for four years, this was a blessed relief to be treated like a guest and not a money machine.
Always happy to see me. Always happy to hear and act on a request.
They really seemed to understand that I was a stranger and didn't know my way around.
They don't pay commissions, so the room was a lot cheaper than others in the area. I got a room for R350 per night.
I would recommend it to any traveler.
