Astoria is indeen in the heart of Kolkota city.
The hotel is neat,clean ,safe and the staff are very helpful.The room service is good.
Good place to stay in if going with family.

Secure place, with gate so beggars won't come in the near the front door. Friendly service. Although room service was SLOW. AC units in the window worked. Shower heads were all broken. No hot water. Some of the toilets wouldn't flush toilet paper. Some beds were soft other were like concrete. TV with cable. Clean rooms.
