Taxi's are expensive The taxis are all a fixed price in Tahiti and Moorea. Pre-arrange all of your transfers with the hotel. You'll have a shared ride van with various stops, but you'll save a bundle. I think the price for a transfer from the ferry terminal in Moorea to the Sheraton was $11 for two people. A taxi would have cost like $30 with tip.
