thievery A couple at the resort kayaked to Huahine Iti, left the kayaks on a secluded beach and hid the paddles. They went off to have lunch at Chez Mauriti and upon returning found the kayaks were stolen. They walked 4 hrs back to the resort. Also, we were warned not to leave the car alone at the marae/ beach area on the southern most tip of Huahine Iti as rental cars were being targeted there.
